Gone are the days of perusing showrooms and dozens of home boutiques. Wayfair has introduced a new e-commerce business, Perigold, featuring luxury home furnishings that will be delivered not just to your front door, but to your room.

Perigold offers a vast high-end collection with more than 75,000 items. With over 300 brands including Schumacher, Sferra, and Matouk, quality that was typically only found in showrooms is now available online.

Free shipping is also provided on orders over $49, as well as white-glove delivery service that includes everything from in-room delivery to packaging removal. Concierge services are available to customers to assist with style or delivery details. At Perigold, convenience is no longer sacrificed for luxury.

General Manager Rebecca Ginns says Perigold is a unique combination in its extensive collection and white-glove delivery. She says she expects new categories of products, such as tabletop pieces, to be added as the popularity increases.

Since its launch in early September, designers have begun using Perigold to enhance their spaces. Orlando Soria, Taniya Nayak and Marie Flanigan have all shared their Perigold finds on social media, praising Perigold’s delivery services.

“We were really excited to see that [response],” Ginns says. “We think we have something great to offer and it’s great to see some beautiful pieces come to life, some even in their [the designers’] own homes.”

An affiliate program is also in the works for designers and influencers to feature and show consumers how to utilize their favorite pieces on Perigold.
